discover service vs rssi

hi, have you ever tested that at (or above) what rssi can you discover service successfully? as we found that sometimes discover service fail even connected, we doubt it is regarding low rssi? ble devices is customized hardware from QuickEmbed Technology who claims strong signal strength at 100 meters.

Bluetooth (at least up to v4) range is about 100 meters. And that's line of sight, perfect conditions. So to say strong signal at 100 meters sounds very suspect to me. In reality, it's more like 30 ft. So if you're 100 meters away, and you actually get connected, then I wouldn't be surprised if service discovery fails. When you're at low signal strength, many things tend to fail.
