Crash with lever
I just decided to try BlockSteps, just to see how it looked/worked.
I first tried on a server, and that was a little weird, because it rendered the minimap weirdly. It rendered only the chunk I was in, and it didn't render the blocks I walked on if I was at particular heights. I had OptiFine installed, and I know that often plays hob with other mods' graphics, so I removed it, and then loaded into a single-player world. I crashed after a couple of frames, with this crash report: http://pastebin.com/hYJUYTc2
Reading the crash log, it looks like there's a lever or a tripwire hook in the world near me and something in BlockSteps is doing a bad cast on its orientation.
I removed BlockSteps and loaded the world, and there aren't any levers, so it must be the two tripwire hooks I have in this screenshot:
EDIT: I tried it without OF, and it doesn't render anything in the minimap for some weird reason.
Also, here's some screenshots of the one-chunk-only rendering issue.
Right before moving over chunk boundary:
And right after:
All the mods I'm using are:
Forge 11.14.4.1577
iChun Util 5.5.0
BlockSteps 5.0.0
BetterFPS 1.1.1
CodeChickenCore 1.0.5.35
CodeChickenLib 1.1.2.133
NEI 1.0.5.104
JourneyMap 5.1.3
Mo' Bends 0.21.3
WAILA 1.6.0-B2_1.8
OptiFine 1.8.0 HD U H2
Wait is Blocksteps confusing a Lever for a Tripwire? That's... new. I'm surprised no one had reported this to me earlier.
Actually, I think I might've figured it out. In this line, I see an explicit cast to BlockLever.EnumOrientation being stored in a variable meant to hold an EnumFacing. The cast probably needs to go. I haven't tested this, so I can't say for sure.
Also, I have bundled up two seperate issues in this one thread. Should I create a seperate one for the one-chunk rendering weirdness?
