When attempting to install on an ATV3 following the guide on the wiki I get an error

Cloning into 'PlexConnect'... fatal: unable to connect to github.com: github.com[0: 140.82.114.4]: errno=Operation timed out

after running git clone git://github.com/iBaa/PlexConnect.git

any idea what might be causing it?

Use https:// not git:// assuming that it supports the right TLS version.
