Version 1376 and 1377 are no longer supported and the download link will no longer be provided. Please use VxKex NEXT instead.
Currently, the original developer vxiiduu cannot continue to develop this software, and I am going to fix some known bugs, the changes of source code will be opened. Tell me if this is useful or not.
Changes:
VERSION 1.1.1.1377 - Fixed a bug where VxKex cannot be installed after uninstalling very old version of VxKex.
VERSION 1.1.1.1376 - Fixed a bug where some applications would not scale properly on High- DPI screens.

The two versions I published have the source code in zip files. Those are small updates. Next version of my branch is a major update, I am going to add Simplified Chinese support, fix the bug that cannot uninstall after update to Win 10, add several functions, and the full source code will be avaliable in this post.

Now users upgraded to Win 10 or 11 can uninstall VxKex by upgrading to my next version. Using documented functions instead of internal kernel functions works.
Hi, developing Vkkex is so complex difficult, it's an achievement, we thank immensely great Mr @vxiiduu and great YuZhouRen86 and great Mr Aqua-Vision for their efforts and generosity to offer us these new tools and fix the problems and save our laptops and the ecology from destruction! and we hope please Mr @YuZhouRen86 and Mr @Aqua-Vision will unify their efforts and reunite their great projects in a single project to avoid fragmentation and for the benefit of all users so that we are not torn which project to use between these 2 magnificent projects, thanks :)

Thank you Mr @YuZhouRen86 :) yes we were happy to see the message from the original developer, and his mother seems to be fine but he has to take care of her, he didn't say he's abandoning the project, the project is on hiatus on pause, of course his mother is more important than all the projects :)

Unfortunately, the https://github.com/vxiiduu/VxKex/ repository is now controlled by an scammer. The "mom" story is entirely fake and seems to be an attempt to exploit VxKex’s popularity for financial gain, specifically through bitcoin donations.
@trimechee, I’d appreciate it if you could remove any references to https://github.com/vxiiduu/VxKex/ and the "mom story" from your posts across various repositories. Thanks for your understanding!
@i486 , ok thanks for letting me know, I'll delete now here, tomorrow I'll delete the rest, because now I'm tired and I'm going to sleep, i sahre these vxkex ti encourage developers to keep support softwares for windows 7, i read teh description of vxkex in your repo, it seems there is no warning of this fake version....or mayebe in the release page , I'm surprised that I fell into the trap, because I already heard there was fake version and I clicked on purpose on the description of vxkex of your repo to see if there is a warning on fake version but it seems you deleted the warning on the fake version?
@i486 I check, apparently I only shared the fake version of vxkex by mistake on a smplayer issue, if you find other topics, please let me know, I also shared the fake vxkex on the vlc forum because I fear vlc 4 is not compatible with windows 7 os and I can't edit my post in vlc forum, I asked the vlc moderators to delete the fake version from my post

And Mr @i486 , please inform Mr Vxiiduu that we hope also the support of vital N_m3u8DL-RE please, it is parser of mpd hls dash m3u8 streams and has compatibility witht he famous extension Cat-catch catch that can downlad complex videos :

Then, check the check box which says "Enable VxKex for this program", and try to run the program."
for example i like to install firefox or chromium, but firefox and chromium are not compatible with windows 7 os 32 bits, so logically i can't install firefox and chromium and mpc qt and therefore i can't use Vxkex ? i won't have error message when installing firefox, mpc qt ....? missing api or ddl ? I specify I have never tried Vxkex but I prefer to ask these questions before starting the adventure to download software then nothing will work maybe ....

Apply VxKex for both installer and .exe from shortcut, and many new softwares will run correctly.

we hope the support for chromium and coc coc browser which has rare media grabber donwloader will be brought and bugs fixed please because, the new recent update of official Vxkex, I was reassured by the fixing of the bug with 32 bits system, I install official vxkex for windows 7 os 32 bits and it was a disaster, nightmare, I install chromium 133 32 bits, and it does not want to uninstall, yet chromium is officially supported by vxkex .... maybe I activated options of vxkex that I should not have activated.....
in any case I end up with chromium impossible to uninstall, likewise failure to install coc coc browser
