Limits of overclock
Overclock is working well. Wonder how we could define limits ? Wrong behaviors : not booting, kernel panic, wrong i/q signals ?
Mine won't boot with 1100/750 overclock, but it doesn't mean that 1000/700 that boots will be long term stable. Good way to test will be to run mprime torture test with blend of fft sizes to test cpu/cache/memory controller AND power supply AND cooling stability. BTW ad9361 also runs hot and needs additional cooling.
on my pluto moddings i added an al block and a silicone pad on the fpga and trx chip (so suck the heat away from pcb and get lower drifting) dg9bfc sigi ps could not resist to look inside ... will add also some cooling block and silpad inside the libre ... FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE PCB!!
1000/700 used for a few days ... seems to be stable .. but is way off in frequency
