Do SBC on partial joint probability space with some parameter values fixed. This would weigh down the needed computation greatly. From many SBC literature, researchers are interested in only certain parameters related to their validation purpose (eg. inverse temperature parameter from Potts model, scale prior parameter to validate heterogeneity from the hierarchical model, cancer probability for embedded Laplace algorithm for Bernoulli-logit latent Gaussian model).

Information on target parameter supplied from brms formula can be used to simplify data generation and inference by providing which parameter to be fixed at which value.
