Hyprlock Not Usable When Focused on Tray

Open spifory opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

I use waybar for my status bar and there are times where I may right-click on the tray, and then hyprlock executes (through hypridle). Problem is, when that happens, I am unable to type in my password (as it's still focused on the tray) nor can I close the tray because hyprlock of course would not allow me to close it (as it disallows access to anything else besides hyprlock on the screen). In this case my only option usually is to shut down my laptop and turn it back on using my power-off/on key which is a little time consuming as my laptop is quite old. Unsure what the solution is, so I'm open to any possible solution to this. Thanks! :)

I'm on hyprland, but I've just realised I'm two versions behind so I'll need to update it

Happens to me as well. If I press any key whilst Hyprlock is in this limbo state, it causes Hyprland to completely crash

I assume this was fixed with https://github.com/hyprwm/Hyprland/pull/8147
