Hyprutils: built against 0.10.2, system has 0.10.3
Hyprcursor: built against 0.1.13, system has 0.1.13

This works hyprctl dispatch layoutmsg move +col

This doesn't hyprctl dispatch layoutmsg move -col

When i execute +col the workspace slides to the column to the right, when I use -col it does nothing. When I execute them from the terminal itself i get the hyprland usage dialogue.

they work fine from the binds in hyprland.conf.

-col is being interpreted as an argument to hyprctl. you can instead run

hyprctl -- dispatch layoutmsg move -col

the -- tells hyprctl to not interpret the flags after it.

Thank you, this did the trick :).
