Blur merge
Description
I have two panels like this, however when I blur them there is visible border where one layer goes into another:
Would it be possible to add a feature to treat them as the same when blurring? E.g.
blur-merge=bar1,shade
This might be tricky to implement and might have weird issues, but I think it could be a neat feature
I can't see anything but black, but you can try applying layerrule xray to both layers. With that only the wallpaper will be blurred.
Sorry it is kinda hard to see, might depend on your display etc. X-ray wouldn't do anything really, but does look better with wallpapers I have currently. But it samples the pixels around it to make the blur effect, so each layer is sampling slightly different pixels so that is the issue when it would be better if it was in the same pass
