Description

I used to be able to hold ctrl and press a bunch of hotkeys on chrome but it won't work any more.

How to reproduce

  1. google-chrome-stable --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland --enable-wayland-ime
  2. have focus not on the address bar
  3. Hold Ctrl and press L to focus address
  4. Keep holding Ctrl and press V, clipboard is not passed, but rather a v occured.

This is not a crash. Also opened on thorium

Same issue with NixOS / LibreWolf and Hyprland @ https://github.com/hyprwm/Hyprland/commit/2ccd45a84475fab46c6fecd2fe226d3173104743. Haven't tried the latest commit yet.

I've seen this issue on Firefox and I think some other places as well. It's fixed on git whereas 0.40.0 has the issue.
