Bug or Regression?
Bug
Description
Clicking on a numeric input in Blender warps the cursor to the center of the current monitor. The cursor seems to still focus the area it was in before warping for the next click, if it isn't manually moved again.
Screencast of the bug:

How to reproduce
- Open Blender
- Click on any numeric input ("current frame" for example)

Hello! This happens to me as well.
Same thing happens when I try to rotate the model as well. Like if you click somewhere in the viewport with the middle mouse, the cursor jumps to the middle of the screen and the rotation jumps as well.

That's been fixed on git
Thank you for the heads up! I am using the normal version (not the git version), So I thought that this could be related.
Sounds like it's fixed, but I'm experiencing the same thing as well. Cursor jumps to the center of the screen whenever it should lock.
I also have the Screencast Keys addon enabled so inputs can be seen.

Hyprland version? Viewport warping is fixed in git.

I'm on the AUR's hyprland package. version is 0.40.0-1. I'll probably just wait for it to get updated.
I was mainly just looking to document that this issue works the same way on several installs.
Had the same issue. Switched to GIT version and it works fine, but it's unstable when using certain applications (it keeps logging me out).
we know, it's being worked on
well the cursor only warps if you actually drag the values instead of clicking it... the change that modified this behaviour is f8857e6072bd85b95393499688872aaf7f088b5b. Maybe use this as a workaround for the time being?
Seems to be fixed on nixos at the moment.
@enderprism ?
the issue seems to be fixed on arch too
I would like to request this to be reopened as the issue as never been completely fixed: changing values by dragging them still warps the cursor at the center of the window.
The workaround proposed here is not an actual solution, as it disables a quite useful functionality.
I'm on v0.44.1. (aquamarine v0.4.2)
I haven't been bothered enough by it to come back and say something, but I am having the same issue as @FoxLeader. Dragging on numerical values teleports the cursor to the window center.

Yep, nixos-unstable same thing
@FoxLeader @timberlinefpv @max-ishere Still there?
It is for me.
Hello I have the same issue too. I haven't commented as it was commented as fixed so I thought that it was a problem on my end. I am on Fedora 40, Hyprland version 0.45. Clicking on values works but dragging them keeps mouse warping.
I confirm that it works with the workaround suggested above, but also as it was stated above, the workaround proposed is disabling a very useful feature.
I hope it gets fixed some way as I love using Hyprland!
it still happens when changing fields by clicking and dragging in the "Adjust last operation" window
~~After updating to git yesterday (from cca227a) I've noticed this happening with quite a few xwayland apps when focus changes. E.g. when the hover popup in Rider (or other IDEs) closes, it jumps to the center of the main window, as that now regains focus. Same with steam, when the menu items (e.g. from hovering 'Library') close~~ Configuration issue involving hyprscroller
