Also see this on the AUR mesa-git, I just removed it and reinstalled mesa (pacman -S mesa). Only affecting Hyprland that I know of.. have tested KDE and Sway
I'm using a fedora based distro called nobara so the problem might be with nobara's implementation of xwayland??? I will close this issue when i get this figured out
as stated also happening on Arch linux AUR mesa-git package which is the newest Mesa.. I believe nobara's Mesa is built off the latest mesa-git and only affecting Hyprland as far as I know

does not exist on fedora. I think It's work mentioning that Hyprland did work fine on 0.7.1 and older, but something in the 0.8.0 release caused it to seg fault
please perform a git bisect
then and provide the exact commit that started crashing.

apparently this got fixed with either a mesa update or something I did. Recheck please? (update mesa and hl)
still seg faults, also mesa-git hasn't been updated yet, even in the AUR
Nobara has released updated packages and Hyprland now runs fine
