Problem you are trying to address with this feature
We are neglecting one of the potentially most powerful uses of annotation which is social tagging. ala Delicious, or Diigo's /tag search capability. (https://www.diigo.com/tag/annotation).
Your solution
Though you can search for tags by facet with our activity pages, there are four features which would dramatically improve it's utility.
1- Provide a ranked list of the pages that match the result. (in Diigo this is called "popular"). A number should show the number of other people that have also tagged the page/document with that tag. (This view would be useful in searches other than for tags too). 2- For the overall search: Show "related tags" that have been most frequently used on the same pages as people using the reference tag. 3- (Similar but different) For each result, show the other tags that have been used on the same page. 4- Give the tag search a simple URL (hypothes.is/tag/TAGNAME). Which may give it higher SEO?
