Pressing Escape in a form field loses user text

One for the Vim users: edit a form field, hit Escape, all your text is lost.

This was an un-thought-through side effect of enabling pressing Escape to close the "dialog" as it does in a typical native dialog. We could easily be a bit smarter here and not cancel the "dialog" if it has changes when Escape is pressed.
