use cordova.plugins.barcodeScanner.encode Method Program exit.

What do I have to do? I can't find a solution

"cordova": "^6.5.0" and "cordova": "8.0.0" This is the problem. I guess there is no connection with this version.

sorry to say, but as mentioned in the README this plugin is discontinued
