The bot users are obvious outliers and I believe it gives better result by excluding them when building the graph
Hi @johnnychen94 , thanks for your advice! Since Hypercrx is a tool to demonstrate datas from X-lab, so we can not exclude those bots on our side. Yet, members from X-lab are working on this and they did some research on this topic. You can follow open-research to keep updated with their learning.
Dr. Bi @bifenglin has been conducting a research on GitHub bot detecting (detect bots including those are not marked as bot
but actually behave like a bot).
After he finishes his research and OpenDigger implements the method proposed in his paper, we can continue to work on this feature :)
At present, the graph data in HyperCRX is no longer provided by OpenDigger and has been replaced entirely with OSGraph. This issue can be considered for closure.
