Release milestones?
I engage with the ACA-Py project asynchronously these days. I am unfortunately unable to attend community meetings where releases are normally discussed. But it would be nice to be able to find out what is planned for the next release. I could watch back recordings of the community calls but that can be a bit tedious and doesn't give me an opportunity to submit any input on the release or offer to take on items to help get the next release out.
It might be useful to create release milestones (kind of like the one that was created for the 0.11.0 release here: https://github.com/openwallet-foundation/acapy/milestone/9?closed=1). Or even just opening an issue to capture goals for the next release. Or both! 😄
Just a suggestion! Happy to follow along and make due if that's what works best for the rest of the community. Thanks!
Hey @dbluhm — thanks for the note. Agreed we should be doing this. At this point, 1.3.0 is due out any day — we’re not particularly waiting on anything, just shaking out the RC2 produced on Monday, and pushing through a couple of small changes. Nothing significant will be merged prior to this release.
Your general comment on getting a roadmap in place is a good one. Sounds like a good topic for an upcoming ACA-Pug meeting.
