Support custom units in dashboards (ms, B, %, etc.)

Please add an option to display values with appropriate units—for example milliseconds, bytes, kilobytes, and percentages—in dashboards. Raw numbers without units make latency, size, or error-rate metrics hard to read. Unit formatting would greatly improve clarity.

Apologies—I just noticed the Number format panel already supports several units.
It would be very helpful if the full “seconds family” of units could also be added
(e.g., s, ms, ns).

@knudtty / @wrn14897 Would the team be open to an implementation of a new "Duration" number format which takes care of this particular use-case? I've got something workable that I could clean up and raise a PR if there isn't already something planned. Attaching some screenshots for reference -
