make a github.io project page
Should make a page to highlight features and make it easier to find download links for the users operating system
I'd be happy to make this page if you're cool with that 😄 . Maybe using Gatsby as a static site generator (plays nicely with GH pages)? Like you said the page can:
- Highlight features/what the app does
- App screenshots or short demo GIFs
- Download links for the latest version
- Social media links, etc.
- Instructions on how to open an issue or whatever else
If you have any preferences on the stack or anything else, I'm cool with whatever (even just plain old static page hand-coded).
Go ahead. This is very far down my priority list and help is very welcome.
I'm fine with gatsby. I was actually thinking about using it for another project on my plate and am probably going to do a tutorial on it soonish.
One thing to keep in mind is I'll probably try to get a japanese translation of the pages in the future. I'm not sure if it's better to do separate web pages or dynamically changing the text like I do for squid tracks.
