Add selected tag/tags to a blacklist from right-click context menu

Open Senju-vilis opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

Requesting following right-click context menu options on a selected tag or multiple tags:

  • add to download/import blacklist -> choose specific tag service or all
  • add to tag display (censorship) blacklist -> choose specific tag service or all

This should be accessible from both media viewer and tag management window and maybe other places.

Currently blacklisting process can require navigating back and forth between multiple window popups which require to be closed before proceeding.

If you're talking about file blacklists (stops files from being downloaded if they have blacklisted tag) then those are by file posts/watchable/per parser, not service. Tag filter (stops blacklisted tag from being applied to downloaded file) those work on the above and tag service.

What I want to say is that any context menu would either need to be fairly limited or really deep. My suggestion would be that we can add tags to something similar to favourite tags. We'll call them hated tags, this list would then be visible in filter and blacklist windows so we can easily add them.

Hated tags could work fairly well for download/import blacklist

As for tag display (censorship) blacklist - right-click option would be way more convenient.

Back when it was all or nothing it worked like that. But the current system has more options. You have the services and two options per service plus them actually having whitelists too.

Thinking more about it I'd rather prefer a dedicated list of tags I don't like since that'd make it easier to add and remove from filters at will. I've found myself having to fiddle about with adding and removing tags a number of times and as long as you remember to not empty your clipboard it's not fine, but doable.
