@deadprogram here it is. The first draft for this.

I know I need to add tests, hence the draft state, I'm not yet sure what tests I should add, there's just a lot of driver in here. Also, it probably needs some additional work so that examples, etc show up correctly on the website. Your guidance on this would be great.

Really any form of tests would do, I'd like to see what you come up with.
