featurerequest: Snapshots - use main plot scaling (no auto scaling)

currently it seems that a snapshot does some auto-scaling to fit all data to the screen. this leads to difficulties when multiple plots / snapshots are compared.. it shifts / stretches the y scale... wish: toggle option or manually define visible area (x; y ranges)
