New Serial/MfrID etc not recognized/stored correctly

Hi, I recently acquired a G-010S-A to use in my Ubiquiti UDM SE. To use it with my ISP I would need to program the Serial/MfrID, which I did with the help of this page.

This is what I get when I use ritool dump

so looks good, I got a HWTC and the G984Serial is displaying the correct serial. Also the onu gtcsng gets the correct serial. after rebooting the nokia sfp it also still displays the above settings

However, when I insert it into my unifi switch I get the following info displaying:

The module is not able to establish a link, most likely due to the serial/vendor not propagating, and it using its factory defaults(?). What am I missing here? Many thanks in advance!

What is displayed by the switch is independent of what is sent to the ISP. The information displayed by the switch is read from the SFP eeprom and can be set with sfp_ddm_tool.

I did notice that you did not set the YPSerialNum, I would set that to the same value as the G984Serial. But your ISP may also need other values set to properly establish the connection (e.g., the password).

What state does the ONT get to?
