Hi, {It's Not a Bug}

Fortunately I see that the splashscreen has appeared in this version. The icon in the menu bar remains IMG_20220522_134543

But the icon in the menu to switch applications [cmd+tab] appears with the Java icon IMG_20220522_134456

The splashscreen should also have been in the 2.0.0 version. Wasn't it? Maybe "things" are a bit different on the M1 Macs..

Sorry Harry, I now have a new Mac M1. I will try to post more detailed and orderly issues.

I also have to say sorry. For the 1.9.0 and 2.0.0. I used another Apple bundle build program to make a real MacOS application bundle, instead of my manual scripted application bundle. That resulted in having no splashscreen (as apple doesn't allow that. Neither for python programs which I also make), but having a real application icon (we discussed that also earlier) Stupidly enough I used the old manual build again last Sunday. That means again: Yes, you have a splashscreen, and No, you do not have a program icon in the task switcher, but a java icon. And for whatever reason the applications shortcut is missing from the dmg, that allows you to drag the application into the applications folder. (I completely had to rebuild my development environment. I guess I overlooked the shortcut "somewhere")

What do you want me to do? Rebuild and get rid of the splash screen? Or keep it like this having a splash screen, but not a correct icon in the task switcher.

it's not really a problem that keeps me awake at night ;-) if you give me a choice, without any doubt, I'd rather keep the splashscreen The inconvenience of NOT having a window for the installation, personally, seems minor to me, but not very 'user friendly'; maybe I would wait to see what the rest of the users say.

soon I will upload the images of version 2
