Feature Request: Set as Default for All Filetypes

Plain and simple - Screenbox is awesome and has become one of the first programs I install on every device. It's just a nice peace-of-mind that it works with EVERYTHING thanks to the LibVLC frameworks while also presenting a much nicer interface. Thank you for all your hard work, truly. Literally the only thing I can think of to improve this would be having an option to "Set as default application for all filetypes" like ImageGlass and other programs can do, perhaps both as an option displayed on first run and accessible in the application settings. Thank you!

Oh, and perhaps if you add direct support for image files and other types (I know they can be opened within Screenbox but they aren't shown as dedicated options in Settings), you could have different options for defaults such as "All audio types," "All video types," "All image types," etc.

"Set as default application for all filetypes" like ImageGlass and other programs can do, perhaps both as an option displayed on first run and accessible in the application settings.

That's not something we have control over, or should for that matter. It’s more appropriate for the system to manage this. Unfortunately, starting with Windows 11, the quick option to set default apps for broad categories (like Music or Video) is no longer available in the system settings.

Either way, you can easily access the default app settings and choose which extension you'd like to associate with it. Navigate to the default apps settings page, or open the Run dialog (Win+R) and enter the following command:

ms-settings:defaultapps?registeredAUMID=18496Starpine.Screenbox_rm8wvch11q4my!App
