Song titles missing when media is playing and video titles not showing at all.

Open ottozumkeller opened this issue 1 year ago • 4 comments

Describe the bug For a music file the title set in the metadata only shows when the album is loaded but falls back to the filename as soon as the file is played (also some songs have a filename but others dont). For video files it seems that the title is not shown at all. I on windows insider dev build 26120.2130, so mabye its Microsoft's fault (I already send some feedback). But sometimes the title shows and sometimes not.

Can you share a file that demonstrates the issue? Also, please check if the issue is still present in the latest version.

I just updated Screenbox. Unfortunately, the error still persists. The following file demonstrates the error: test_filename.zip

It's fine on 23H2, maybe you're right and it's a issue with that dev build and we should keep a close eye on it.

Can you try this one? Same file but I just refreshed the tags, thanks. test_filename.zip

Well, it worked temporarily. However, when I close the app and open it again, the problem returns. It seems that the reading of the system index does not work well. However, when I do not use the system index, no files are displayed at all... Windows Media Player works fine.
