Live translate hinders browser performance

Tested on two different instances, one with 3 languages and one with 9 languages (demo). When activating live translate the browser becomes extremely slow. I looks like the more languages the slower it becomes.

This seems to happen in library (many more translatable elements?). Tested on FF linux.
