A number of Uwazi system messages aren't translatable

Open llfinch opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Describe the bug After performing certain actions in Uwazi, the system generates a message at the top of the screen in a white banner with a green stripe on the left-hand side to update the user on the status of their action, like so:

There are also system messages that come via email, such as when you reset a password.

The vast majority of these messages don't appear to be translatable, neither by Settings --> Translations --> User Interface nor by the Live Translate feature (which would be tricky in any case, as these banner messages disappear after a few seconds and you can't turn on Live Translate in your email inbox).

I've taken note of the messages I could see while traveling through Uwazi that aren't translatable. However, this is not an exhaustive list and I'm sure further investigation is necessary at the code-level to make sure all untranslatable messages are identified, which I am unable to do. See table below.

Expected behavior If I have a non-English-language UI activated on my Uwazi instance, I would expect to also receive validation of my actions or important error messages in my language too.
