For Manjaro or Arch users, there is the [python2-gimp](https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/python2-gimp) plugin that needs to be installed. It solved this same issue for me.

Well it's not usable for me when I flick for long scroll and it scrolls in the opposite direction.
