Phone app gets selected when exiting overview

If i try to open the overview using my phone's menu button and then close it with the back button the phone app gets selected for no reason(it doesn't happen if i open overview through any other mean) it only happens on lean launcher,not on rootless pixel launcher,its likely that the launcher doesn't account for the menu button as its a deprecated button. screenshot_20180311-195114

I did change something around the code that handles that, I guess the first icon gets focused, and it happens to be the first icon on the hotseat. Will take a look on this when I have some time.

screenshot_20180407-110900 Also if an app is highlighted on the homescreen if i use the home button to open the drawer the highlighting goes to the first app in the drawer
