Padding above the caret keeps changing

First I notice that the icons above the caret are too close to it: screenshot_20180927-145630 Then I switch on and off "Search -> Extra Bottom Padding" and it becomes normal: screenshot_20180927-145605 But after I restart the launcher the icons go back to the wrong position. screenshot_20180927-145630 The version is v1.1.8. Could you fix this? I really like this launcher but this bug is hard to ignore. Thank you.

As for me, that Hotseat may even dissapear and padding drops down. As workaround I switch to landscape and back to portrait but this is annoying
