(Debug version) Status bar icons not visible in Google Now

Hi,

I'm using the latest version (1.1.7) of the debug version of lean launcher with the glance add-on and the latest beta version of the Google app on Android 8.1 (August 2018 patch).

I have set my theme to dark and when I side swipe to Google Now, the status bar has a dark background along with black icons and clock, make it illegible. This is not an issue on the home screen as the bar is black with white icons and clock, and happens only when I swipe to the side.

I can temporarily get this back to white, by switching the theme to light and back to dark, but if I click any article on Google now, it goes back to black on black.

I can reproduce this issue so it seems to be recurrent.
