This is a feature request so I probably missed a long discussion with very good arguments against it, but I couldn't find anything! So here I go:

It would be neat if there was an option to use a PHP gateway script that a local SMTP server could forward mails to. This way, users could reply using an email message rather than having to log into HumHub.

In my opinion this is also a very important data protection issue: Some of my members answered via Email and the email always is sent to the administrator instead of the person intented to
