You can already use that by replacing install_plugin: ^2.1.0 with

  install_plugin:
    git:
      url: https://github.com/BenjaminHalko/flutter_install_plugin.git
      ref: cb71f6b86548db88e29ea6ea530b7279d90f1bb9 # commit hash

in your pubspec.yml
