Chrome Canary?

Not so much about detection but rather a --canary flag that would modify a cross-platform path (depending on the OS). It would assume that Canary is installed. I guess it could fallback to stable Chrome.

The use case is that Chrome Canary can be needed (or at least preferable) for development. There are many great options one can supply from the command line for a near-perfect development environment. The only thing missing is the path to Canary itself.

My other idea is to check for developer-exported $CHROME_CANARY_PATH.
