Do timed exit after the daemon has not been used for a while

Does this work? Does the session re-register devices if the daemon disappears and then re-appears?

How can I test it? I don't have any color profiles installed :/

In fact I don't have any devices that support a color profile atm.

You do, the screen you're using :) gsd-color registers a device with colord at session start -- if you restart g-s-d (or just re-login) the devices should appear.
