Add dashed and dotted functionality to pdf output

Open markbneal opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Describe what is missing Currently we know that dashed and dotted lines don't get through to the pdf format.

Border Styles: Quirks: Only "solid" and "double" styles are currently implemented in LaTeX.

Wouldn't it be nice though?

Describe your proposed solution It is well over my skill level, but do these links suggest a methodology for a solution? https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/45275/tikz-get-values-for-predefined-dash-patterns https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PGF/TikZ

Target audience I have no idea how many people would care. It does make a nice table with striped tables and a dotted border though, which is what I'm re-creating.

Additional context NA

It’s on my TODO but complex. I don’t know tikz or if that would work in tables, will check it out.
