Invitation to contribute Jupyter-Stata documentation

Open SepineTam opened this issue 3 months ago • 1 comments

Hi Tim,

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently developing a project called Stata-MCP. To provide users with more flexibility, I listed your project nbstata as one of the alternative options for running Stata in Jupyter.

However, since I am not good at draft docs, I am not confident about how to describe it accurately or write clear documentation for it. I would like to invite you to help improve this part of our documentation so that it is both accurate and useful for users.

If you are interested, you are very welcome to directly edit the file stata-mcp/source/docs/JupyterStata.md. Your expertise would make the documentation much more reliable and helpful for the community.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I would be glad to hear from you.

Best regards, Sepine Tam

Thanks for reaching out and I'll look at the docs you reference. (Note to others, I previously responded similarly to Sepine Tam via LinkedIn but just realized I had neglected to reply here.) I haven't had a chance to try Stata-MCP yet but it will probably also make sense to link to your project in the nbstata docs. (To be clear, anyone should feel free to make a PR directly to the nbstata docs.)

A question, though: how does your project relate to https://github.com/hanlulong/stata-mcp ? How should a potential user choose between them?
