Unable to close port 7010

http-server C:\something -port 7010

auto download the file i can't close the port. is there some way to shut down that port ?

Could you clarify, is the port staying open after you stop the server?

The same problem started for me randomly. Was working initially but the just didint.

After setting up a port other than default (8080), the server starts, but doesnt load the scripts. After killing the server and starting again, it says the port is in use. This happens with every new port i try. At the same time the port is NOT actually in use. I can still start up servers from other applications with those ports no problem.

On MacOS, latest http-server version 0.12.3

When this happens, is http-server or Node still running? It may not be actually shutting down correctly
