Media Gallery and associated post ID

If you upload photos to media library through the native Wordpress new post admin interface, the files is linked to the some post IDs. But if you use the Carbon Fields Media Gallery, then nothing happens. Is it possible to associate uploaded files in post meta container with a post in a Media Gallery Field?
