Screen refresh When Using PSPBEEB homebrew
Game or games this happens in
PSPBEEB
What area of the game / PPSSPP
When I try to use the homebrew BBC Micro Emulator PSPBEEB, it starts fine.
However, if I press select to bring up the emulator menu nothing happens. If I exit the app on Android and go back into PPSSPP the settings menu is displaying properly.
I think there's a screen refresh issue to the PPSSPP emulator as it appears that the select key press doesn't trigger the menu option within PSPBEEB.
I've tested the PSPBEEB app on PPSSPP for at least 4 year and it has always had this issue.
A link to the emulator can be found here: http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/serendipity/index.php?/categories/9-BBC-Micro
What should happen
When I press select the menu for PSPBEEB should display without having to minimise the app and then open it again.

Can you try turning on Software Rendering in PPSSPP's setting?
Likely the emulator uses some mix of drawing with the PSP GPU and the CPU, and this can cause refresh issues with our GPU-accelerated backends.
Thanks for the reply.
You are right, as when I tested the software rendering option it didn't have the select button menu issue. It is really slow with hardware rendering disabled.
I guess it isn't possible to fix the issue so that it works using the hardware mode?
Thanks for taking the time to build this great emulator. :-)
Possible maybe, but the checks we'll need to add may slow down other things. So it's not really top priority.
