Motivation

There are a number of inconsistencies in the app UI when it runs in different OSs. This change attempts to fix that and to establish some conventions which would make future improvement easier.

  • The window titleBar will always appear at the top.
  • The current sideBar in the mainWindow will be moved to the top and will act as the mainNavigation.
  • The second row would be the current page's "contextualMenu" which shows different actions in different pages.
  • The main area is now wider (as the sideBar would be moved to the top)
  • The new bottomBar is where main actions will be placed. It can also be used to show the status of a time-consuming action, such as downloading updates or shortcuts to different actions, depends on the context.

Hi, it will be implemented soon. I just relocated to another city and will get back to Manta soon after settling down.
