Describe your issue
There are some cases like in my current situation where the tax calculation is fixed to a predefined amount. I'm planing on adding this feature asap. I will open a PR if this sound good to you.
Hey Stefan,
Thanks for being interested in contributing to Manta.
However, if I understand you correctly, Manta already has this feature. You can go to the Settings -> Invoice and turn on the Tax field to make it required in the form and adjust the tax amount as needed.
The next time you open the form, the tax field is already populated for you.
Not really what I mean. The idea is to provide a non-percentage tax calculation. In my particular case, I have to add a fixed 2β¬ tax (not %) on the total amount.
@stefanomarra: Got it πSounds good to me, I think this would be very handy.
Also, would you be able to make it something even more flexible? I think some people from France (are you a French, too? π) asked me to turn the current tax feature to something like this:
- [ ] Allow one invoice to have multiple tax items. (It works pretty much like Product/Service field. You need at least 1 active tax item if the tax field is required.)
- [ ] Each tax item has its own Description, Amount and Type (fixed or percentage)
- [ ] Rearrange tax items (optional)
Let me know if you want to take on this. If you just want to work on the original idea, I can build these features on top of your work.
What do you think?
Sure, I can try to work on these features as well π
Btw, I'm from Italy π
Awesome! π
Any update on this @stefanomarra ?
@hql287 still no updates, I was a bit busy in the last few weeks. I will probably be more active from the next week and start the integration. I'll keep you updated!
Cheers, bro! π
