autocrypt export-public-key crashes on non existing account

I'm looking for a way to figure out if autocrypt knows a certain key. I could grep for the email address in status but that seems ugly. If i use autocrypt export-public-key and the key does not exist it crashes with a full backtrace cluttering the logs. A short error message would be nice.
