Documentation for `schedule.share_allocation` is very wrong.
In schedule/config.py, the documentation is wrong. The default is also true in the default dictionary.
Hello,
I’m running Pavilion2 v. 2.4 with Slurm as the scheduler and there are times when I need to run the same workload series in an interactive allocation (i.e. srun —pty bash). On the allocated node I want to use pavilion's series with raw scheduling like this: “pav run -m raw workload1 workload2 workload3” ; however, as you know that syntax runs all three workloads concurrently. My solution is to use pav wait to manage the submission (see below); are there any pavilion functions or methods that would provide a more elegant solution?
sno=$(pav run -m raw workload1 | parse_series_number) pav wait $sno sno=$(pav run -m raw workload2 | parse_series_number) pav wait $sno …
Thanks, Randy Smith
