I believe your observation is right! Definitely looks like a typo.

@ferruzzi , could you take a look at this? This is related to the issue that some of the metrics that stats is generating is not appearing when using OTEL.

Maybe a good way is to refactor the code such that resource attributes to be declared as global singleton and every get otel logger function is not recreating that all...
