Invalidated tasks
When a task is invalidated it is listed as the first one in the list of tasks available for mapping.
The result is more than often that the first new mapper who contributes sees this task first and selects most probably this task. And often declares that task ready for validation again without solving the problems (sorry, most new mappers do not read the warning in the TM or if they read it won't be able to solve the frequent reasons for invalidation).
Would it be possible to make invalidated tasks only available in the TM to intermediate or experienced mappers?
Now invalidate tasks keep coming back and back again. Any other suggestions?
@Kraan46 well spotted with this! Agree that the sorting should not prioritize tasks which have been marked recently as badly mapped. However, I do worry that restricting invalidated tasks to more experienced mappers would interrupt the validation feedback process.
Validators tend to give feedback to new mappers in the (admittedly hopeful) expectation that the mapper can return to that task and fix their mistakes. If the original mapper cannot return to their original task this would interrupt that process.
No it does not interrupt the feedback process as long as new mappers read (and know how to read notifications which is often not the case) the notifications. The only thing they can not do is continue mapping on that same task but they hopefully learn from the comment and can use this on other tasks (if they come back which is again often not the case). Now it is a massive waste of time for validators.

I do agree with both @Kraan46 en @SColchester .
A good compromise would be to restrict access of invalidated tasks after it has been invalidated for eg 3 or 5 times. That way the validation feedback process stays partially intact. And it prevents that tasks suffer from "serial invalidation".
