Ambari dependency for streamline

hello i have finished to compile registry + streamline and they run side by side but a dependency to Ambari is mentioned in the streamline GUI ( config/service pool) please is it mandatory to experiment streamline with Ambari ? or can i expect run it with just a dependency to storm and registry ? best regards

No ambari dependency to create service pools. You can add storm/zk/kafka etc with manual service pool configuration by giving respective component's configuration.

Actually there is some issue to register services manually. #780 is one of them.

Thought about manual registration more, and I also found what I was missing: configuration file doesn't have default value hence and we can't get the default value anyway.

We need to define required fields for service and let user also input on registering. Since we add resource file for Hadoop / HBase / Hive in topology, we may not need to define required fields for those services, but need to define for others.
