Hello!

Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 | lavender Android version: 14 crDroid version: 10.11 Kernel version: 4.19.322

App Version: 0.45.2

I'am newbe Unstoppable user.

  • For Unstoppable I'am highlighted old Xiaomi Redmi NOTE 7.
  • I've installed alternate Firmware crDroid without Google Services.(not used even microG)
  • I've installed Unstoppable wallet usind F-Droid repository.

And 2025-10-24 create new wallet with 21 words recovery phrase.

All wallets created good, but Monero(XMR) wallet keeps infinite synchronization.

What I’ve already done:

  • Every 24 hours I switched sourсe for Monero synchronizing
  • I've tested this sources by telnet command - all looks good.
  • I've tested this sources by telnet command using VPN connection - all looks good.
  • I left the Unstoppable app with VPN on for 24 hours

Nothing changed.

Can you help please?

Try to unlink and add the wallet again.

When UW asks for birthday height (choose "existing wallet" in restore process) write in the field a recent position.

It depends when you have created that wallet. If the balance has no transactions you can write even the last blocks that you read in blockchain.

If it has not tx then: 3533810

@serrq , Hello!

Thanks for really quick reply!

I've tested:

  • Make local backup, Unlink wallet, then import backup angain, but there are no place to fill "recent position" . Then I'am waiting for a 2-3 hours , nothing changed.
  • Make local backup, Unlink wallet, then changed JSON backup file "birthday height " to 3533810 , then import it again. Nothing changed.

Right now I’ve set "Running Monerod via Systemd" https://docs.getmonero.org/running-node/monerod-systemd/
I want to setup local node, I want to try make local syncronization with node on my pc (ubuntu)

P.S.: Syncronization on my local ubuntu node not yet completed, I'll write late. (Full node: 230 GiB)

I didn't say this:

Make local backup, Unlink wallet, then import backup angain, but there are no place to fill "recent position"

I said unlink it, re-add it. Manually (no backup).

Hello!

What I’ve already done:

  1. Setup full monero node
  2. Make wallet with monero-wallet-cli
  3. Full read docs and a litte bit tested some commands in monero-wallet-cli wallet. All looks good. monero-wallet-cli is working.

As I understood from the documentation, external wallets must be connected to the port 18089/TCP of monerod daemon.

At home I have usual home network /24

192.168.1.1/24 - My router 192.168.1.100/24 - My PC (with monerod daemon) - Static IP (LAN Connection) 192.168.1.155/24 - My Smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 | lavender - Static IP (Wi-Fi Connection)

I have installed on my smartphone Termux application for test open ports.

Command telnet 192.168.1.100 18089 from my smartphone showed me than port is openned Command tcpdump port 18089 running at the same time on my PC showed me than traffic in comming

Next I am tryed to add https://192.168.1.100:18089 node to Unstoppaple wallet and restart the application. Command tcpdump port 18089 running simultaneously on my PC did not show anything. Command tcpdump host 192.168.1.155 running simultaneously on my PC did not show anything.

Is this right URL https://192.168.1.100:18089 to add to Unstoppable wallet?

Hello @andrsharov,

Could you check the monero syncing using the default node?

Hello!

For test was setup test router TP-Link TL-WR842N ver 5.0 with firmware OpenWRT (with tcpdump installed).

For test was used default server opennode.xmr-tw.org:18089

For test was used PC(Ubuntu) with installed Wireshark 4.2.2

For test I am used SSH remote capture: sshdump connection from my PC to my Router with filter host 192.168.1.155 and interface any.

When I tryed to connect to server opennode.xmr-tw.org:18089 with telnet command , this traffic was displayed in Wireshark. I think this traffic not intersted to anybody. So I did not share this tcpdump. Only screenshot.

Image

Next I has setup Unstoppable wallet to server opennode.xmr-tw.org:18089 and run Wireshark again. А lot of traffic was generated from IP Smartphone 192.168.1.155, but there no trafic relates to host opennode.xmr-tw.org ( IP 213.165.76.129 , 84.23.142.12 , 192.99.8.110).

Image

I think the Unstoppable wallet doesn't even try to connect to any server.

Any ideas? How I can to provide an additional logs?

P.S.: pcap file in attach.

Ok, it fixed. I just tried unlinking and restore the wallet from backup phrase, choosing Existing wallet and type my birthday weight to the recent transaction minus 2.

Hi. For previos wallet I still can't fix it.

I have a guess that the reason is that I chose not standard long phrase recovery (21 words).

So, I share with you my empty wallet .

1. eye
2. what
3. round
4. stone
5. wood
6. daring
7. pretty
8. roof
9. property
10. boring
11. skin
12. window
13. mimic
14. oak
15. predict
16. spell
17. coach
18. sing
19. slight
20. across
21. still

Passphrase for recovery phrase: vW%ie-e4HfGY+hdV.tqhv%8Dzsls/MYQ*+L47r8hrXm_Itzl-XJ_Ke.7.Wh-k#1F

Local Backup Password: l0P4hxOztKG7R2P_Xnwazfm0hg67ZwhkC-Kd-LtYg1wxaoUmTDTj3Uh06yXFZE6Y

Right now I made a new wallet with the standard length (12 words) of the recovery phrase. And everything looks good. Synchronization for all wallets was no more than 5 minutes
