Mail server configuration is not working
Mail server configuration is not working
i have installed horilla with docker and followed the blogs, created app password from gmail and configured in mail server but its not working
everytime getting error like " smtplib.smtpauthenticationerror: (535, b'5.7.8 username and password not accepted."
Steps to Reproduce
- via docker composer installed and used default credentials and tried to configure mail server
- Seting icon --> General --> Mail server --> create new one
Expected Behavior
test mail should work without any error.
Actual Behavior
it showing error message like "smtplib.smtpauthenticationerror: (535, b'5.7.8 username and password not accepted."

We have tested the same from our end and were successfully connected. Can you confirm whether Less Secure Apps is enabled for the gmail account?
i have created app password but i didn't see the *Less Secure **Apps *do i need to enable it ? where it available ?

As per suggestion enabled Less Secure Apps but again getting the same error
